I frequently get questions like, “What do you buy at the grocery? What kind of workouts do you do? How do you balance blogging and school?” In order to attempt to answer these questions, I’m going to start blogging about my day-to-day Paleo life, and yes I will be completely honest. I’ll include my workouts, my grocery list and any Paleo-related tips.
This past week was pretty busy! When weeks get busy, I get efficient. I sometimes eat the same meat for dinner every night. It’s not boring to me, because when I’m hungry even plain scrambled eggs sound great. Here’s my receipt from Whole Foods.
Let’s take a closer look! 3 Kombucha teas (my favorite probiotic), 12 eggs, 1 85% dark chocolate bar, frozen spinach, frozen broccoli, pastured butter, ingredients for homemade lara bars (dates, nuts, coconuts, raisins), 4 big chicken breasts, a few slices of bacon, applegate ham, peppers, onions, and more broccoli!
For breakfast I ate my vegetable filled quiche everyday [picture above], similar to the recipe here. It’s easy to make, and I like it cold and warmed up. I filled the quiche with ham, and some coconut milk. I ended up freezing the chicken I bought, and I took out frozen venison sausage and frozen cauliflower to eat for dinner this week. Sausage is perfect for a busy week, and I wasn’t craving chicken anyways. Now that it’s the weekend I have some time to make new recipes!
Here’s a look at my workouts from this week.
You may not know that AMRAP means “As Many Reps As Possible”. Tuesdays and Thursdays I train with a personal trainer. On my other days, I do a variety of workouts. This week was so nice outside, I decided to run and walk.
