Do you miss pizza? I’m not going to lie, I do! If you miss pizza, I now have 3 options: my cauliflower crust recipe, my grain-free tapioca crust, or now a Paleo Pizza Quiche Recipe. Thank you, thank you to The Spunky Coconut for this amazing recipe. Although these are my original images, this recipe can be found on Kelly’s blog!
My favorite part about this recipe is that it’s completely Paleo without modifications. The “crust” is made from sweet potatoes; WOAH, right? They create a great texture and flavor that complement the quiche. Then top it with your favorite pizza toppings! I only used sautéed onions, but feel free to get creative here (olives, sausage, ham, bacon, pepperoni, pineapple, etc!) Lastly, add the sundried tomato, egg combo. [full recipe here].
This recipe is also Whole30 approved. If you’re not familiar with the Whole 30, you should be. It’s an amazing program written by my two favorite bloggers Dallas and Melissa from Whole9Life. Basically it’s a very strict version of Paleo, that helps change your relationship with food. It is 30 days of strict Paleo, which means absolutely no dairy, grains, legumes, processed foods, any kind of sugar, or “Paleoified treats”. After the 30 days, you have a reintroduction phase to see which foods may be giving you some issues. It’s a great experiment, and the results are phenomenal. There is actually an A-Z of health problems that have been healed by completing a Whole 30. So check them out, I’ve completed two Whole 30s and really benefited from them.
