Here it is. My first skin product post, My Must Have Skin Products of 2019. Ever since I declared I was pursuing dermatology, my friends and family have asked my go-to favorite skin products. I am sure this list will expand greatly in the next 5 years, so stay tuned!
After working with over a dozen dermatologists, there are some rules to follow. Use a retinol, use a sunscreen, cleanse, moisturize and sometimes use a peel or mask. Scroll down to find my must-haves!
Cerave Cleanser
Start with the most basic. A good face wash. Cerave is packed with ceramides to restore your skin barrier. I haven’t met a Dermatologist who doesn’t love Cerave products.
Elta MD Suncreen
Do not underestimate the importance of a sunscreen. Start early! I wish I started at age 15.. But it’s never too late to protect your skin from UV rays that will eventually cause wrinkles.
Differin- a retinol
Retinol is not just for people with acne. It works by increasing the cell turnover of your skin. It decreases fine lines, improves skin pigmentation, and makes you GLOW. It can dry out your skin, so always moisturize.
Alpha Beta Peel- Dr. Dennis Gross
This peel is one of my all time favorite products. It can be used daily and really exfoliates your skin. The first part works to exfoliate and remove dead skin, the second part has Vitamin A in it.
C+ Collagen Deep Cream- Dr. Dennis Gross
It’s hard to describe this amazing product, you just have to try it. It instantly moisturizes with a tiny amount. It is seriously addicting to use!
Clinique Moisturizer
Here’s another great moisturizer, and it is easier on the wallet! I have used this for years.
Alitura Clay Mask
Last but not least, my favorite clay mask. Every time I recommend this product to a friend, they end up texting me saying it is LIFE changing.. or SKIN changing really.
Comment below with your favorite skin products. I would love to know what you can’t live without.

Thank you for sharing this list. I’m heading to my 50s and I’ve noticed major deterioration in my skin (face) over the past 3 years.
